An App Monitor checks a URL at a regular interval and alerts you when it becomes unavailable or when a custom condition fails.
Steps
- Go to Infrastructure → App Monitor (or open
/monitors). - Click Add monitor.
- Enter the URL (include
https://). - Choose a check interval — from 1 minute up to 60 minutes depending on your plan.
- Select alert conditions (default: URL becomes unavailable).
- Add at least one notification channel (email, Slack, webhook, etc.).
- Save — checks begin immediately.
Optional settings
- HTTP method — GET, POST, HEAD, and others for API endpoints
- Request headers & basic auth — for protected endpoints
- Response validation — alert if page contains/does not contain text, or if a JSON path fails
- SSL certificate monitoring — warn before certificate expiry
- Domain expiry monitoring — warn before domain registration expires
