Create your first App Monitor

Add an HTTP/HTTPS uptime monitor and start receiving downtime alerts.

An App Monitor checks a URL at a regular interval and alerts you when it becomes unavailable or when a custom condition fails.

Steps

  1. Go to Infrastructure → App Monitor (or open /monitors).
  2. Click Add monitor.
  3. Enter the URL (include https://).
  4. Choose a check interval — from 1 minute up to 60 minutes depending on your plan.
  5. Select alert conditions (default: URL becomes unavailable).
  6. Add at least one notification channel (email, Slack, webhook, etc.).
  7. Save — checks begin immediately.

Optional settings

  • HTTP method — GET, POST, HEAD, and others for API endpoints
  • Request headers & basic auth — for protected endpoints
  • Response validation — alert if page contains/does not contain text, or if a JSON path fails
  • SSL certificate monitoring — warn before certificate expiry
  • Domain expiry monitoring — warn before domain registration expires
